Copy Down Support for Training Plans
1. Does Training Plans support automated CSoD copy down?
No. Training Plans does not support automated Cornerstone (CSoD) copy down.
All actions must be coordinated manually.
2. What should I do if I need a copy down?
If a copy down is needed:
✅ Ensure Portal Provisioning is complete, as per the Partner & Admin Manual (Chapter 2)
📅 Notify ISQe at least 15 days in advance to plan environment rebuild, by creating a support case in CSoD, respecting the 15-day notice. Don’t forget to include in the title of your ticket [ISQe Training Plans], so that it is rerouted directly to us.
3. What are the required steps of a copy down?
A copy-down involves these steps:

Suspend data synchronization from CSoD

Execute the requested copy down in Training Plans

Request CSoD to activate Data Exporter in Full Mode in the target environment

Wait for data availability and validate that Full Mode is configured correctly

Request CSoD to activate Data Exporter in Delta Mode

Validate that Delta Mode is configured and data is available

Import full Data Exporter files
-
Import delta Data Exporter files
-
Validate and finalize the copy down
4. What are the impacts of a copy down?
🔄 The database will be created from scratch or copied from production (if available)
⚠️ All Training Plans tasks and configurations will be overwritten
📴 Data Exporter (DE) will be disabled – a support ticket must be opened to re-enable it
📧 Email configuration must be revised – email service will be unavailable until reactivated
⏳ The process may take up to 15 days
📉 Response times depend on Cornerstone’s processing time for each step
5. Are there any additional costs?
💼 During the implementation phase, copy downs are included at no additional cost
📅 After go-live, ISQe supports up to 2 copy downs per license year
💲 Additional copy downs or manual syncs may incur charges – contact us for more info
